Aruze debuts Rock Paper Scissors at Circa Resort and Casino

Aruze Gaming America, Inc. (Aruze) has installed its Rock Paper Scissors Instant Win on the Muso Curve 55HB cabinet at the Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The game was previously unveiled to the public at the 2022 Global Gaming Expo.

Rock Paper Scissors Instant Win is the latest installment in Aruze’s line of Activ-Play games. Activ-Play technology allows players to actively interact with their slot game experience beyond the typical level of participation in a video and lever slot. In Rock Paper Scissors, players choose to sign rock, paper, or scissors against the machine. The rules are the same as the traditional game; each time a hand sign is chosen, a bet is placed. A winning play against the machine results in a randomized prize wheel, ties level up the prize wheel up to five times, and a loss is a reason to play again.

“In the first few weeks at Circa, Rock Paper Scissors has seen a tremendous reception from players,” said Rahmi Chaghouri, director of operations at Circa Las Vegas. “We are very excited to continue to partner with Aruze to feature their award-winning innovations. Our guests know they can find the most innovative games in the world at Circa, and the response to Aruze’s Activ-Play games show a propitious future with more to come.”

Go Go Claw, a spin on the classic claw-style arcade game, is also in Aruze’s Activ-Play line. Go Go Claw was awarded Global Gaming Awards’ Product Innovation of the Year at the 2022 Global Gaming Expo and has been available to players at the Circa casino since 2021.

“Circa is a leader in bringing new, fun and futuristic games to casinos, and gamers and gamblers around the world are actively aware of that,” added Rob Ziems, president at Aruze. “At Aruze, our tagline is ‘Innovation is our Tradition,’ and Circa believes in that same philosophy. This alignment of our values makes Circa a great partner as we continue to explore the realm of possibility in casino gaming. Rock Paper Scissors and Go Go Claw are the first of many Activ-Play games we hope will continue to attract players in new and inviting ways.”
